Our Awards and Achievements
Baxter's Global Sustainability Efforts Recognized by Dow Jones Sustainability Index
Baxter has been named 2011 Medical Products Industry Leader of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America). This marks the 13th consecutive year that the company has been listed in the DJSI and the ninth year the company has been named Medical Products Industry Leader since the launch of the DJSI in 1999.Locally, Baxter Healthcare has been formally recognised for their efforts in driving excellence and innovation in environmental management and has received a number of awards.
Repak Recycling Awards
In 2010 Baxter Healthcare was a finalist in The Repak Recycling Awards. These awards recognise the efforts and ingenuity of its Business Members, Local Authorities, Collectors and young people in the area of packaging prevention, reuse and recycling.
The Green Awards
In 2011 Baxter Healthcare was a finalist in The Green Awards. The aim of these awards is to celebrate excellence in sustainability and to encourage green best practice amongst organisations and individuals.
Envirocom Awards
The EnviroCom Awards are renowned for showcasing the best melding of environmental and commercial practice by companies, agencies and non-profits located or operating within Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown. Baxter Healthcare was winner in 2009 in the category of waste prevention and a finalist in 2010 in the same category.
